A Moment for NYC
A series of early works developed in New York, exploring everyday life through a lens of imagination.
Ordinary actions become entry points to something unexpected – subway windows reveal the night sky, a washing machine fills with fish, and crowded spaces dissolve into flowing time through timelapse.
Alongside the video work, the project expands into a photographic series focused on scale and perception – capturing oversized “American foods” held within the frame, highlighting a contrast between cultures and proportions.
It also marks the beginning of an illustrative exploration, with Map of a Broken Heart — a visual metaphor where emotions are mapped like a city, divided into streets, squares, and spaces.
A body of work that moves between observation and transformation, laying the foundation for a language where reality becomes a starting point for imagination.
